To never give up to soon
Today was the day of the 80th Egg bowl. The day after thanksgiving match-up between Mississippi State University (my alma mater) and Ole Miss. Everyone said MSU was going to win easily today because we had been doing great this year and Ole Miss had not. Eric, his mother and I started watching the game at her house this morning, and at the beginning of the 4th quarter MSU was losing 14-0. How could this be? Well I decided we were going to lose, so I told Eric we should leave so we could go get him a ladder while they were on sale. We had to drop the dog off at home first, and on the way home, we scored a touchdown! We decided to finish watching the game when we got home, and in a very exciting 7 mins, we won the game with 8 seconds left on the clock, 17-14!!

So, I learned never to give up too soon!

We are going to a bowl! Go MSU!

How to use the new voting machine..
Last night was the second time I've ever voted. The first time that I voted was when I was a student at MSU. We used paper and pencil to vote that time. When my husband and I went to vote last night, they had the new computerized machines. It was pretty cool!

A Riddle
See if you can figure this out.

There are 7 girls on a bus

Each girl has 7 backpacks

In each backpack, there are 7 big cats

For every big cat there are 7 little cats

Question: How many legs are there in the bus?

Comment with your guess and I will tell you if you are right.

Another wet morning
I about peed all over myself this morning. I was getting off 45 onto the 82 ramp, and there were several cars and a house trailer in front of me. I knew that the trailers usually pull off when they get on the ramp so I slowed down. Sure enough, they started to pull off the road, so everyone had to stop. I looked in my rearview mirror just in time to see the college girl in the huge ford explorer thing slam on her breaks and start sliding sideways. I just knew she was going to start rolling side over side. I pulled up beside the car in front of me as fast as I could, to get out of the way. Thank God she corrected just in time.

I already knew to drive slower on wet roads because of a wreck my sister had, but this just restated the point.

Been Busy
Sorry for not posting in a while, I've been a bit busy. I graduated from MSU on the 13th, which was awesome. Because of my maintaining a 4.0 GPA my whole time during school, I got a special award. I also got to have breakfast, along with all the other 4.0 graduates, with the deans, the new president of the college and one of my state's representatives, Roger Wicker. I also got to sit on the front row, in front of the professors and the graduate students. It was exciting.

Well since I got a job with Dillard's as a programmer, I will be working in their corporate office, which is in little rock, ar, starting June 26th. We are moving out there two days after my birthday on June 10th. I'm so excited, we are actually going to have our own place! The only thing I have been doing since i got out of school is packing and getting the wedding stuff done. I have my alteration appointment, they are going to have to cut 8 inches off the bottom of my dress. :(

Four days after I start my new job I get off 9 days for our wedding an honeymoon :)

Stuff
I recieved by new hard drive Friday, and by Friday night I was up and running again. Unfortunatly I did have to format my hard drives, but at least my computer is working again.

Thursday I went for my first ever gynological exam. I know, I'm a little old for it to be my first time, give me a break I don't like doctors and this didn't make me like them any better.

Saturday, I took my parents to Tupelo so my dad could get measured for his tux and so my mom could buy an outfit to wear to the wedding. It didnt take 5 minutes to get my dad measured, i was surprised. Since we were right next door to David's Bridal, we stopped in to pick up my dress. The only thing was, it was the wrong color! I ordered a ivory dress with a peridot trim, and they ordered it in peri! I was really upset, I mean I ordered it in January in order to make sure it got done on time, then when I get it, its screwed up and I have to wait to get another one. And to top it off my veil came in, in the right color. Wha!? They don't know the exact date my dress will come in, and since they didn't change the date of my wedding when I told them to, they still thought I was getting married of the 15th instead of the 1st, so they have to put an extra fast rush on it. I don't know what I am going to do if it comes in on the monday before my wedding, because I need it altered also. I am supposed to be in Arkansas starting my new job monday thru thursday of that week! Help!

We had our last chapter test of the semester in Spanish today, just the final left now. I sure hope it is not as hard as the last two tests have been. Please God let me have made like a 95 on my test today, pleaase.

Finally, I updated all my cards on my trading post and converted the whole site over to php.
